Dermaplaning is a relaxing, non-invasive, pain free facial that gives immediate results with no down time. A more clinical, deeper exfoliation, facial using a specific safe exfoliation method which involves using a fine scalpel blade at a 45 degree angle to gently exfoliate the fine Vellus facial hairs and the epidermis (top layer of the skin) in order to give immediate results and reveal a smoother and brighter complexion. All carried out using Vegan Clinical Solutions friendly products.

FAQS

What is Skin Peels & how it works?

A skin peel is a great way to bring the natural radiant glow back to your skin! By removing dead skin cells on the skins surface it is considered to be one of the least invasive ways to improve the appearance of skin. Typically applied to the face and can be used on other parts of the body too ie hands/back/decollete, a chemical peel enhances and smoothes the texture of the skin to remove the damaged outer layers. It is an effective treatment for wrinkles, facial blemishes, and uneven skin pigmentation, revealing a smoother more brighter complexion.

Skin peels work by AHA’s & BHA’s create a chemical reaction on the skin. During this process the PH of your skin temporarily changes from slightly acidic to very acidic (This is why the PH of your skin peel is very important. The lower the PH the more aggressive the peel). The application of a neutralizer brings the PH of the skin back up to 4.5-6 and stops the tingling sensation.

Our Glycolic Acid peels -Derived from natural sugar cane, Glycolic is one of the most commonly used peeling agents.

Benefits of Skin Peels:

  • Non invasive & very little downtime
  • Can be used to treat fine lines, pigmentation, acne and improve overall skin tone and texture
  • Removes the epidermis to visibly improve the structure of the skin
  • Increases cell turnover
  • Can be used to treat acne scarring
  • Reduces the appearance of sun damage with regular treatment
  • Skin appears brighter and more radiant
  • Stimulates the growth of healthy skin cells and collagen
  • Helps to treat oily skin- Regulates sebum production
  • Helps to treat Dry skin- Removes surface dead skin, allows for deeper product penetration
  • All peels used are non-toxic

Is it painful & safe?

No, it is not painful, you will feel a slight sensitivity when your peel is applied but we will monitor closely and the use of a fan is available also for comfort. Yes it is safe, everything is sterile & disposed of immediately after treatment.

FAQS

What is Mesotherapy & how it works?

Mesotherapy uses a series of superficial injection techniques (known as nappage/intradermal) boosts the skin with hyaluronic acid which can plump out skin and hydrate as hyaluronic acid can bind up to 1000x its weight in water, making this extremely hydrating! This treatment can also be used on the hands!

The treatment itself is very superficial and the needle should only ever penetrate 0.2-0.3mm in depth. It should be relatively painless and should not induce any pinpoint bleeding or bruising. Epidermal nappage consists of applying the product to the epidermis at a depth of 0.2/0.3mm, which is equivalent to an a4 sheet of paper!

Mesotherapy is most effective when delivered after an exfoliation procedure such as dermaplaning or chemical peels. College sheet masks can be used after the procedure to further enhance the results.

Benefits of Mesotherapy:

  • Skin rejuvenation and instant hydrating boost
  • No down time
  • Minimal discomfort
  • Effectively restores vitamins & minerals to the skin
  • Restores Hyaluronic acid which depletes as we age
  • Results driven treatment

Is it painful & safe?

It is slightly sensitive but very minimal. Mesotherapy is delivered at a superficial level of the epidermis; it only penetrates 0.2/0.3mm into the epidermis. The epidermis contains no blood vessels. Therefore there should not be any pinpoint bleeding. It is very safe with using a single use sterile needle which is disposed of immediately after treatment.

FAQS

What is Microneedling & how it works?

Derma rollers use a rolling head of hundreds of stainless steel needles to prick the skin. They're typically used on wide areas like the face, neck, and abdominal area to treat wrinkles, acne scars, dark circles under the eyes, and other fine lines. Usually, they're combined with other skincare products like hyaluronic acid.

The Derma roller creates multiple superficial puncture wounds, releasing growth factors that stimulate fibroblasts creating new collagen and elastin. Achieves results through increased quantities and access of cell nutrients to the skin – optimizing the cell function. Injury to the keratinocytes promotes increased cell turnover. These tiny open channels which are created by the dermaroller allow up to 80% more product penetration into the skin. (Topical application of serums etc only allows for 7-10%)

Benefits of Microneedling:

  • Suits all skin types
  • Natural alternative to Botox
